TO DO BRABANT

  • The B&B is located right on the Pilgrim's Path. Ideal for hikers to rest and start the next day refreshed.
  • Visit the Strabrechtse Heide, one of the largest continuous heathlands in the Netherlands. Beautiful on foot or by bike.
  • The Leenderbos also invites you to cycle and walk.
  • Let yourself be surprised by the culinary delights. There are several Michelin-starred restaurants in the area, including the 2-star restaurant Tribeca within walking distance.
  • Heeze Castle dates partly from the Middle Ages and is situated on a beautiful estate that is freely accessible to walkers.
  • Close to the station, making it easy to visit cities such as Eindhoven and Den Bosch.

TO DO LIMBURG

  • Hiking in Kempen Broek Border Park. This nature reserve is perfect for walking and cycling. Think of marshlands, forests, heathland, and Scottish Highland cattle.
  • The center of Weert is 15 minutes away, ideal for shopping or enjoying a nice terrace.
  • The IJzeren Man recreation area is a popular spot for families. Here you can swim, walk, enjoy water sports, and of course, just relax.
  • Stramproy is located in the middle of a fantastic cycling area with cycling junctions, quiet roads, and terraces along the way.
  • Visit Thorn, a beautiful village with white houses, historic streets, cozy restaurants and cafes, and a rich abbey history.
  • For water lovers, the Maasplassen are highly recommended. You can rent a boat or enjoy a lovely lunch by the water.
  • Take a covered wagon ride or go horseback riding through the most beautiful nature reserves in the Netherlands. www.stalvanhornehoeve.nl.
  • A climbing forest and mini-golf are also nearby.

TO DO COSTA BRAVA

  • You certainly shouldn't miss the famous turquoise bay of Cala d’Aiguablava, with its crystal-clear water, ideal for swimming, snorkeling, or paddleboarding.
  • The Cami de Ronda is one of the most beautiful coastal paths in Spain. You walk along cliffs, hidden beaches, and pine forests.
  • Begur is a beautiful hilltop village above Aiguablava and is known for its medieval center, charming squares, viewpoints, and castle ruins. Definitely worth a visit in the evening.
  • Kayaking along hidden bays. You will discover sea caves, small coves, and snorkeling spots.
  • Rent a boat for a day.
  • Medieval inland villages like Pals, Peratallada, and Monells are worth a visit.
  • Or the larger towns like Girona and Figueres.
